Welcome to Our Daycare Program for Children Aged 0-48 Months
At our daycare, we believe in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive. Our program is designed around three core principles by Magda Gerber: Respect, Response, and Relationship. We also use a play-based approach to support your child's development in a safe and loving space.
Our Core Principles
Respect
- We honor each child's unique needs and pace of development.
- We provide choices to empower children and foster independence.
- We create a calm and respectful atmosphere where every child feels valued.
Response
- We observe and respond to each child's cues and interests.
- We encourage exploration and curiosity through hands-on activities.
- We support emotional growth by acknowledging and responding to feelings.
Relationship
- We build strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family.
- We encourage peer interactions to develop social skills.
- We promote a sense of belonging and community within our daycare.
Our Play-Based Approach
Play is at the heart of our program. We believe that through play, children learn best. Our activities are designed to be fun and educational, allowing children to explore, discover, and grow.
- Sensory Play: We provide materials for sensory exploration to stimulate your child's senses and encourage discovery.
- Creative Play: Through art, music, and storytelling, children can express themselves and develop their creativity.
- Physical Play: We offer plenty of opportunities for movement, helping children develop their motor skills and coordination.
- Outdoor Play: Our safe outdoor space allows children to explore nature and enjoy fresh air.
Love for Books
Daily Reading: We incorporate daily storytime sessions, where children can listen to stories read aloud, fostering a love for books from an early age.
Interactive Books: We provide books that are interactive, with textures, flaps, and sounds, to engage even the youngest readers.
Library Time: Children can explore our cozy book corner, choosing books to look at independently or with a caregiver.
Role of the Environment
Calm and Inviting Spaces: Our daycare is designed to be calm, cozy, and inviting, with natural light and lot of plants to create a peaceful atmosphere.
Outdoor Play: We believe in the importance of outdoor time. Our safe, outdoor play area allows children to connect with nature and enjoy physical activities.
Order and Simplicity: We keep our environment orderly and simple, which helps children feel secure and focused. Everything has its place, and children are encouraged to return items after use.
